In this exhibition, interdisciplinary artist Nguyên Khôi Nguyễn delves into themes of fertility, grief, language, Vietnamese American life, and fatherhood. The work is driven by two profound events in the artist’s life: the loss of his father and the birth of his son. Through comics, karaoke videos, prints, and installations, Nguyễn invites viewers into emotionally complex terrain—yet always circles back to moments of wonder and delight.
Every Day A New Page was a solo exhibition at Towson University's Holtzman Gallery in Spring 2025. Below, experience a virtual tour.

Still In Love: Karaoke Suite
Watch, listen, and sing along to this selection of karaoke videos. Visitors are also invited to draw and take home a coloring book.
Still In Love is the continuation of a project which debuted twenty years ago, when Nguyên made Young & In Love, a karaoke installation inspired by outreach work with Vietnamese American youth in Dorchester, Massachusetts. This work catches up on their lives now as adults. Songs and animations explore parenthood, loss, and dating. Still In Love also references Paris By Night, a Vietnamese-language musical variety show that has had a lasting impact on Vietnamese-American culture.
